Hardware

The Hub has the goal of providing a quantum computer in Singapore

Designed in Singapore

Two versions of a quantum processor designed by our hardware team with collaborators at Singapore’s National Quantum Fabless Foundry are being installed at the Hub. The devices have superconducting qubits.

One of the 8-qubit chips was made in Singapore research facilities, the other was commissioned from a fabrication company. Both will be located together with commercial quantum processors in dilution fridges operated by NQCH.

Benchmarking

We are integrating commercial quantum processors with a control system built in Singapore. As for our locally designed chips, calibration and control is done using open source tools from Qibo, Qibocal and Qibolab.
